​Coffee has always been part of an investigator's life. Long nights, early mornings and chasing answers are often fueled by a great cup of coffee.

The 918 Files was created by former police officer, retired military member, private investigator and author Jason Cvancara, whose love of coffee became part of the series. In the books, investigator Charles Gwillam eventually launches Zona Coffee Company, blending great coffee with Arizona's strangest mysteries.

Today, Zona Coffee Company exists both in The 918 Files and in the real world because every investigation, and every good book, deserves a great cup of coffee.​​
